Rachel Heap
Rachel graduated with an Upper Second Class degree in Law from the University of Southampton in 2007 and completed the Legal Practice Course at the College of Law, London in 2010. She qualified as a solicitor in 2016. Rachel has specialised in Commercial and Residential Property work since working as a paralegal and completing her training at a firm in Kingston upon Thames. She joined Carter Bells in 2021.
Rachel has dealt with a broad spectrum of Residential and Commercial Property work since beginning her career. Her range of expertise includes acting on granting and taking new commercial leases including rent deposits, licences to assign of commercial premises, refinancing of property portfolios, sales and purchases of new build and existing properties, re-mortgages, transfers of ownership and assisting management and freehold companies with lease extensions, deed of variation and lease compliance documentation relating to the sale and purchase of leasehold property.
Rachel grew up in Dorset but moved to Teddington in 2009 and now lives in Twickenham with her young family. Having lived and worked in various areas of Surrey and South West London she has first-hand knowledge of the area and the experience to provide tailored advice to clients for all their property needs.
